Interocean Lubricants (Pvt) Ltd (IOL) recently initiated their CSR project in donating shoes, school bags & exercise books for the school calendar year.

The project was initiated & granted to underprivileged children of Gal-Oya Junction Vidyalaya on 20th of March 2018.The students of this school are from underprivileged families whose social or economic circumstances hinder their ability to learn at school.

Gal-Oya Junction Vidyalaya is in a rural environment approximately 20 km North East of Habarana, Sri Lanka. The school consists of 64 students from Grade 1 – Grade 10 with a staff of 8 including the Principal.

The School staff members, students & their parents welcomed the IOL team with much affection and enthusiasm, which was an inspiration for the team to carry out much more projects of this magnitude to uplift the education standard of children.

The students, teachers and parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude and shared their appreciation to the IOL team for their concern & generosity extended to support the education of the students.
